Strategies To Increase Staff Retention

Mary Clarke
VP Nursing Excellence, Analytics

Our profession is in crisis and it is only going to get worse as the demand for nurses increases and the supply decreases. Being a nurse is not easy. Many work long hours, weekends, holidays and care for increasingly sicker patients. Many teach but struggle with lack of technology, clinical sites for training and salary. Many are ready to leave this great profession and retire after years of hard physical and mental work. We focus efforts on recruitment into the profession, but how do we retain the ones we have?

This webinar describes strategies that are successful in keeping nurses happy, engaged and excited about coming to work, in order to increase staff retention!

This session meets the needs of nurse executives, program directors, managers, and clinical nurses who are on the Magnet® journey for initial designation or redesignation.
